WCCB Book Club
Our book club will meet over Zoom to discuss Aldo Leopold's classic book, "A Sand County Almanac." If you're not able to buy the book or find it at a library, we will loan you the book to read. Just contact Naturalist Lisa Ralls at lralls@winnebagoccb.com to sign up for the club, borrow a copy of the book, and receive the Zoom link for the discussion. Geocaching
Geocaching is a great way to get outdoors, get some exercise, and enjoy a little adventure! So, join us to learn more about this fun and easy outdoor activity! Be sure to bring along a smart phone, if you have one. This program is offered jointly with NIACC, so you will need to preregister. More information will be available later about how to register.

Spring Bird Walk
Come take a leisurely, guided hike to observe the spring birds that are migrating through northern Iowa or beginning to nest here. We’ll also learn about the birds themselves and how to identify them. Afterwards, there will be a brief discussion of our summer birds and how you can feed them and enjoy them throughout the summer months. Informational handouts will be available. Wilderness Camping
Have you always wanted to take a wilderness camping trip, but were a little scared about having to rough it? Come learn the basics of organizing a wilderness trip to the Boundary Waters, including the equipment that is needed and what food to bring along. We'll also take a look at why people choose to camp in the wilderness instead of a state or county park. This program is being co-sponsored by NIACC, so preregistration will be required.
