Monarch Tagging

August 30, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

The Monarch butterfly makes an amazing migration each year, but its population is in big trouble. Come learn about the Monarch, its journey to Mexico, and how we can all help conserve this iconic butterfly. Then, you can help tag some Monarch butterflies for scientific research!  Monarchs will be available to tag, but there will also be nets to catch your own, or you can bring your own to tag! The program will begin at 6:00 PM, with tagging from 6:30-8:00, but you can come and go as you wish.
