If you look to the southeast just after sunset, you’ll see a very bright, reddish-colored “star”. That “star” is actually Mars and it’s super bright right now because it is closer to us now than it has been in 15 years!
It rises about sunset and travels across the southern sky throughout the night. You’ll also see Saturn shining further to the west, and Jupiter shining brightly in the western sky. Be sure to catch this planetary show!
